The Texas Western basketball team and Don Haskins are Frontiers be cause of what they did.The team opened up peoples eyes to stop racism.This team caused people to protest their freedom.

The team took risks to go on the road in white only areas.They were brave to do that.Thre were a lot of consequences but some were good and some were bad.

They worked to complete the mission of winning the game.They made their goals and did them.They were probably influenced by Don Haskins to not give up and to keeep going even through all the hate and racism.
